Hotel De La Cathedrale Metz

Absolutely lovely accommodation with a perfect view of Metz Cathedral right from my spacious room. The staff were genuinely friendly and provided really good service throughout. Breakfast offered a good variety and was beautifully presented.

Everything was great, exceptional staff, lovely views of the cathedral. The setting was quite marvellous within easy reach of a Roman Catholic cathedral. A river and a park were close to the hotel. The breakfast was large and fine and there was variety of appetising food.

I was offered a room with lovely views of cathedral. The bathroom was spacious. The employees were exceptional and pleasant. The hotel had a great and charming location close to a neoclassical square. There was a river and parks close to the place.

Charming ambiance, ideal if you appreciate historical architecture and cozy soft-seating areas.

This hotel offers reasonably large and fashionable rooms with a beautiful old fireplace and an updated bathroom plus unique touches. The price is £ 61. The location is very central👍😀

The location of the hotel was very central, right by the Cathedral which is all lit up at night, and the Baraka restaurant. We were there for 1 night and felt would definitely book here again...

The best and worst parts

I was kinda surprised by location , it made exploring easy. Friendly staff were really nice too ensure comfort.

Sadly, noise from the street made it tough to sleep at night, and the lack of air conditioning was less than ideal.

Request a room with a fireplace for a uniquely charming experience. It's a good feature that enhances your stay.

Cathedral was a highlight of our stay. The staff were friendly, and the unique decor added character. The bedding wasn't as comfortable as I hoped. The breakfast was satisfying, with fresh options. I'd consider staying here again.

Empty soap dispenser and the male staff's unfriendly demeanor at reception summed up a series of small annoyances. Common areas need a serious refresh!!!

The hotel features a charming old-style decor and is ideally located just across from the fine cathedral. The room was comfortable, with a good antique fireplace that added character. While the staff were helpful and offered convenient services, noise levels during the night were disturbing, impacting sleep quality. The absence of air conditioning made the warm night uncomfortable, despite the provision of fans.

Great place with fast wi-fi, 24-hour reception, in-room breakfast, and a cute vibe. The staff helped me with money exchange during my first stay. I highly recommend it for your next trip!

I loved my stay in a cozy room that was clean and had all the essentials. Relaxing on the sun terrace with a coffee while taking in the views was a perfect way to unwind. Just a heads-up, the stairs can get a bit tiring, but it's worth it for the charm! ☕

The room I stayed in was a beautiful Large Double Room Cathedral View, with updated bathrooms and a lovely view. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruits and baked goods. Particularly Guillaume.
